Fall is in the Air

The pumpkin is created by layering oval punches. I am really trying to remember to decorate the inside of the card as well as the envelope. This one is a very simple one, but it ties right in with the cover.

3D Christmas Card

Occasionally I create a card that I am not sure I can part with, and this may be one of those cards. I actually created a small box with my envelope punch board, as it will need to be hand delivered or packed carefully to mail.

I used Real Red and Whisper White cardstock. There is some piercing around the outside and around the mat. The poinsettia pieces are all placed on with dimensionals as well as the sentiment. I used gold glitter glue around the petals and sentiment. I also used the glitter on rhinestones and on the roses which are premade.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

"Coffee" Mug

I made this for my son-in-law who drinks coffee. I added a bag of dark chocolates and a tag. This cup is sturdy enough to use as a candy dish or even a small pencil holder. I also made one for my daughter decorated with lady bugs as a thank you for all she does. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it. There will be some more mugs made for Christmas also. In fact, here is one I have already made.

I made the bag from a felt scrap. The tag was embossed with gold powder and the buckle is cut from glitter paper. I also added polar white flowersoft. Not sure yet what I will put in the bag.

I think these would be great with instant coffee packets or hot cocoa.

Want to create these yourself? Tracy has a great video showing how right here .

Hope you have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!!!

Halloween Fun closure

The cover is mostly DSP and ribbon with the Halloween banner stamped and colored with watercolor pencils. It is also trimmed a bit shorter on the right side with a notch punched in the back page for a closure. The bottom picture is also DSP and a tag I had in my stash, as well as a jack-o-lantern eyelit on the notch.

This is actually a square card so will be placed in a larger envelope or a square envelope which will require extra postage.

Halloween is fast approaching and quickly opening the window to more holidays. In fact, I saw a post that there are only TEN more Saturdays til Christmas!!! YIKES!!!  LOL

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!!

Spider Gatefold

The gatefold is a fun card fold. It just means that the card opens from the middle. This was created with designer papers and a little stamping on the inside. You could stamp the spider, but I actually had a cut out that I used. Try this technique with any card that you want to make. Just change the dsp and it could be a Christmas, Birthday, Spring, Fall, or what ever you need. You can dress it up with extra stamping or embellishments, too.

The top picture is of the card in a plastic sleeve so you can see it closed. Sorry about the "spotlight". :)

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!

Stipple Blossom Notecards

These will be a gift. Hope she likes them. The trim on the left side of each card is using the lace tape as a stencil and sponging. The flowers are then just stamped on. This is a very simple and fast project. I think they would make great cards, too, just add a sentiment. I might even add some crystal effects to the flowers for "dew".

Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!

Pumpkin Surprise

This cute and fun stamp was purchased here . All I did was stamp on pumpkin pie and whisper white card stock and colored with my watercolor pencils. The pumpkin pull out was stamped with only the lid a second time on pumpkin pied cardstock and placed on top of the pull out with dimensionals. I added some sparkle with Dazzling Details to give the one kitty's color some bling.

Hope you are having a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
