Love these cool mornings, even if it is still pretty warm in the afternoon. Today I moved on to a winter scene, although I am no way ready for winter! On this card I used Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler cardstock, Cherry Cobbler ink, Four Seasons Hostess stamp set(126830), Be of Good Cheer designer paper (126896),Scallop Trim Border (118402), 1"circle, 1 1/4" circle, Large oval(119855), and Scallop Oval(119856) punches. And again remembered to stamp on the envelope! :)
NOTE: I always put in the number for the wood mounted stamps that I use, but several of our sets
are also available in clear mount.
Enjoy and have a great day!

Fall is in the Air
I was actually tired of all the 100 degree weather, so started in on fall cards. Well, it must have worked because it is so very nice and cool this morning!
On this card I used one of my favorite stamp sets, Four Seasons (126830), which is a hostess set. But did you know that you can place your own qualifying order to receive it? Or get with some friends and put your orders all together to qualify for hostess gifts. I am, of course, referring to online ordering, but if you are in my area, give me a call and we will set up a fun workshop. You will also receive a free catalog when ordering on line, if you need one.
I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes(115370), Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey, and Bashful Blue cardstock; chocolate chip, pumpin pie, and bashful blue inks; Large oval, Scallop Oval, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, and 1" circle punches.
HINT
On the sentiment, I created the Chocolate Chip scalloped oval by punching the normal punch, then cut it in half and attached the halves to each end of the Pumpkin Pie punch. This gives the effect of a second, larger scallop.
And don't forget to decorate the envelope! ( I am getting better at this step :) )
Hope you all have a great day!!

Coaster
I thought I would post a coaster that I made some time ago. If you look in the left bottom corner you will see that I goofed and didn't get a good stamped image. So I improvised and since it was just for me, I think it is okay. I was actually trying to figure out how to use SU products that I had on hand. To begin with I bought a glossy coated tile and cleaned it off with rubbing alchohol. The stamp set is Bells and Boughs (120831) and I used Black StazOn(101406) for the image, then used my markers to color in the images. Because these markers would not dry, I sprinkled clear embossing powder(109130) over the colored images and heat set it with the heat tool (129053). This not only set the color, but now I can place hot or cold drinks on the coaster and it will not effect the image at all. This also gave it a textured feel, so if you would prefer a smooth surface, then add a thin layer of Crystal Effects(101055) over the whole area and allow to dry. I did this on another coaster and the hot and cold drinks do not effect it either.Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Gift box and Card in one!
Like so many times, I started out with one idea and ended up with a completely different one. I thought this would be great with the Tea Shoppe stamp set (125545) and flavored teas in the boxes, but mine is on order so didn't want to wait! I think Language of Friendship (122750) worked just fine. I used Whisper White, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry cardstock, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry ink, and Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon (this is now retired, but we have it in the stitched , #126876).
DIRECTIONS: Create four matchbox (HINT: use a small piece of tape on the sides to hold together while forming the box) and attach them to a 5 1/2 " cardstock base with Sticky Strip (104294). I also used the corner rounder on the base (119275).
Cut the top from the Rich Razzleberry cardstock, the same as the base and attach to boxes with Sticky Strip. Create the Triple Stamp (see earlier post) on Whisper White cardstock, 5"; 3 3/4"; and 2 3/4"squares. From Rich Razzleberry cut 4" and 3" squares. (Next time I will also round these corners.) and add to the top of the "box". The bow is actually just the ribbon wrapped back and forth onto a white mini brad (119736), and using a glue dot (103683) to attach to the "card".
I hope you enjoyed todays project and will give it a try. It really is easy and looks so nice. Have a great day!

For the drawer pulls, I inserted eyelets, cut a 5" piece of Rich Razzleberry ribbon, tied it in half and inserted the two ends from the inside of the eyelet to the outside, pulling through to the knot and trimmed the ends at an angle.
I hope you enjoyed todays project and will give it a try. It really is easy and looks so nice. Have a great day!

Triple Stamping
This is a fun and easy technique! I used Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock, Night of Navy ink pad, and Language of Friendship stamp set (122750). Frenchie has great blog and a video of this technique here ! Have a great day and I hope you will enjoy trying this!

Stationary Folder
I created this stationary folder after seeing one on page 147 of the current SU catalog.(You can view that one by clicking on the catty to the right.)
For the folder: Cut cardstock 12" x 8 1/4"; score with the 12" side toward top of Simply Scored Board (122334), at 5 7/8" and 6 1/8".
For the pocket: Cut cardstock 6 1/2" x 4"; score at 1/4" and 1/2" along the two short sides and the bottom. Cut out the two small squares formed in the corners by the 1/2" score lines. Fold along the score lines and apply Sticky Strip (104294) along the 1/4" fold. (HINT: I used glue dots (103683) to stick the bottom fold to the side folds then added the sticky strip around) Now stick the pocket to your folder on the right side with 1/4" space around the sides and the bottom. Decorate as desired and add your decorated stationary for a great gift!
All In Pink
This is one of my favorite cards, probably because of the color. And I even remembered to decorate the envelope! I used Bordering on Romance (125480) and Apoyhecary Art (125525) stamp sets, Pretty In Pink (100459) and Whisper White (100730) cardstock, Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (126902), Blender Pen (102845) to color in the images, Scallop Edge Border (119882) and Scallop Circle (118874) punches, Delicate Dolies Sizzlets (126999) [Have I mentioned I LOVE my Big Shot (113439)], Organza Ribbon (114319) and to finish off Pearl Basic Jewels (119247).
Hope everyone has a great day!

Miche
Although my main plan for this venture is to share my love of papercrafting, I would also like to share another. If you love purses then check out my Miche site here ! We will have some exciting new products in August. Maybe I should warn those of you who have not seen this great product: It can be very addictive :)
Magnet
This was a magnet that I made for a good friend. Even though I don't care for purple, it is one of her favorite colors so..... I used the stamp set Apothecary Art (pg. 102, #125525) on whisper white cardstock and colored it in with my blender pen and the ink pad. I then punched out using the Labels Collection Framelits (pg. 191,#125598) and attached it to the magnet (magnets you receive with ads on them work great!).[ I should ad here that I LOVE my Big Shot (pg. 186, #113439) and would not want to craft with out it. You can cut and emboss so many designs and use so many products with it!] I then slipped it into a mini envelope which I made out of designer paper and stamped with butterflies and expression. It really is a simple and quick project! Have a great day, everyone!
