BOO Kitty
I saw a similar card on pinterest and HAD to case!!! The kitty and pumpkin are created with oval punches, the heart punch came from the Owl Builder punch. The rest of the shapes are free hand cuts. I used the white gel pen to create the face and claws. The letters are from a die set that I have, but you could stamp or cut your own shapes.
Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Fall Owl
This stamp was given to me because I like owls. I have used it for St. Patty's Day and don't be surprised if you see him on a Christmas card, too. This card is very simple to create, so try it with some of your larger stamps. Just highlight part of the image and matt it onto designer paper. Mix up with different shapes, too. I didn't feel like it even needed a sentiment on the cover. Hope you enjoy.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Hallowed Eve
The card base is embossed with the spider web folder. I tore whisper white for the front and sponged around it, using a mask for the moon, then stamped my images on top of everything.
Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Ghostly Trio
Can you tell that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays? I love this cute side step card. The pumpkins are just layered oval punches and the ghost are created from an upside down owl punch! I do have a bat punch but you can also create bats by using the top of a butterfly punch! How cool is that!!!
If you haven't checked out the Splitcoaststampers site, you really need to! I has great tutorials and oodles and oodles of samples!
Have a great day and as always, thanks for stopping by!

Batty Evening
I really do enjoy sponging. It takes a little time but is so worth it, I think. I used my "goto" stamp set, Lovely As A Tree. SU has carried this set for a very long time, and I certainly understand why! There are so many things to do with it, no matter what the occasion is! I also used masking with this card to create the moon and the ground. If you haven't tried coloring with a sponge, I hope you will give it a try now.
Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Haunted House
Here is a great way to use up some of those scraps of designer papers. Just add a few strips to the cover of your card, and compliment the inside with some of the same or coordinating papers.
I find that embossing an image gives it a deeper color, especially with the black, as used on the house.
I used the scallop punch of this, then added the small hole punch. If you have decorative scissors, adhere your mat paper to the back of the image, then cut it out. That works a lot easier for me, than measuring a piece and using the punch to create a mat.
Hope you have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Tombstone card
This card was created with the circle framelits. Place the framelit on the cardstock and run it through the big shot, just far enough to cut the edge of the card. I then sponged color around the card and used the smokey slate marker to "age" the paper. The ghost is created with the owl builder punch and the bat is a Martha Stewart punch.
We are living in very wet country for a couple of days. Have had more moisture that we usually have all summer and spring, so it is a lot of fun!!!

Patriotic Fence
Ok, you could say I am a bit behind with this fun card, but I prefer to think that I am way ahead!
The fence is a Martha Stewart punch. When I decided to do this card, I was thinking it was a larger punch, but it worked okay. Here is a hint when making the "lollies" (flags): Create your strip, make the score lines and fold. Then drop a spot of hot glue on a non stick/heat resistant mat and form your lolly with the center in the glue. This will help you shape it and when cooled will help it hold the shape.
I stuck the red paper on top of the blue before scoring, too.
Hope you enjoy this last summer hooray, before the fall season sets in! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Postcard
I saw a one of the season's first Christmas commercials on tv last week, so it must be getting close. It is also a bit cooler in the morning and each evening, so fall is just around the corner.
I really debated on purchasing this postcard stamp, but am so glad I finally gave in to the urge. I prefer to create the postcard, then add it to the front of a standard card. This one is really simple, and the inspiration came from another stamp that I had been eyeing, when it suddenly (well, maybe not quite that fast :) ) came to me that I could recreate it with SU stamps that I already own.
I wanted to add pine and holly on the oval, but it just didn't look right to me, so kept this one simple. The snow is white polar Flower Soft.
Hope you have and great day and thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly Honeycomb
For some reason the colors aren't very true in this picture. It was so simple to create and yet would be a lovely card to send to someone. You could always create it with your (or the recipients) favorite colors. As usual, I did a lot of sponging. That adds so much color and really softens the effect, which fits into my favorite Victorian images.
I would love to hear your thoughts, too. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!!

Golden Anniversary
My internet is being REALLY WACKY, so hope I can get this post done!!! At least I am feeling much better! :) Here is a card that I created for my aunt and uncle's special day.
This is the cover of the card. The glitter is actually glitter cardstock. I love the Memorable Moments stamp set that I used on this card! It is so versatile. You can find it on page 134 of the main catalog.
This was the inside of the card. I actually attached a picture of the couple on the pop up, which was created with the Labels Collection die set, and embossed Happy Anniversary on the bottom of the card with gold embossing powder.
Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by!!
