Fall Blessings

This is such a simple card to create and I think it is also very elegant. Pull out your designer papers and different shaped thinlits and give it a try. I used the circle thinlits, my oval punches, and one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Lovely As A Tree. I colored the tree stamp with markers, gave it a huff and stamped on Natural White cardstock. For the polka dot piece and mat, I cut out a rectangle, then used a circle punch to create the corners. The sentiment is place on dimensionals and I attached a bow created from linen thread, doubled. I even repeated the designer papers on the inside of the card.

Baby, it is COLD out side!! We have a ground cover of snow from yesterday and it has been snowing all day. I don't mind that, but the high today has only been 8 degrees and that doesn't factor in the wind chill, which is possible to be -25 overnight!!!

So here is a card that I think fits with the weather and the week we are having!

This card is using the Card Thinlits Die on page 22 of the holiday catalog. The only other thing I used was the cardstock and the sentiment from the Mingle All the Way stamp set, also in the holiday catalog, page 17. All the other pieces are include in the die! I also added a bit of Dazzling Details to sparkle things up a bit!

Mingle all the way

Okay, so Halloween is over but that doesn't mean that I won't be posting more of those items. After all, there is always next year :) !

But, for today, we will start on Christmas, which is coming up really fast! I have several to create for a family member, so have been working on those before starting on my Thanksgiving cards.

This card is one that I "case"d (copy and share everything). I don't remember who gave me the idea and as usual with a lot of my creations, I have used their idea with my own spin. That is what this crafting community is all about.
