Valentine Nugget Box

VALENTINE TREAT BOX (holds two hershey’s nuggets)
6" x 3" cardstock
score long sides at ½" and 2 ½"
rotate and score at 2", 2 ½", 4 ½", and 5"

On the 1" end (this is the closure flap) trim the ½" sides off including the set of small squares. Snip up to the ½" score line on the other two small squares, between the 2" blocks. These tabs will be on the bottom of the box. Crease all scores and decorate.

If you want to use a brad to close the box, then place it before building the box on to the 2" end. I attached small hearts on the backs with brads for the closure (see bottom picture). Add adhesive to the center 1/2" tabs and form the box.

I created these for three very special people in my life! Hope you give it a try. They really are simple and look so nice, without spending a whole lot. I actually used glimmer paper and punches to dress them up. The back of the black box, I actually used a piece left over from punching out a scallop border. If using glimmer paper, use glue dots. They hold a lot better than anything else I have tried.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Perfect Blend Valentine

I love the brightness of this card! Maybe because I am ready for spring to be in the air (preferably without the wind :) ) Here are the SU products I used:

Cardstock: Cherry Cobble (119685)
                  Whisper White (100730)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler (126966)
Punches:   Modern Label (119849)
                Word Window (119857)
Stamp sets: Perfect Blend (130745w or 131392c )
                   Teeny Tiny Wishes ( 128748w or 127802)
Adorning Accents edgelits (125595)
Adorning Accents embossing folders (125601)
Fresh Prints DSP paper stack (132996)

The w is for wood mount stamp set and the c is for cling mount.

The card base (8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" ) is from the cherry cobbler card stock.
Mat with 4" x 5 1/4" sheet from the paper stack.
Then layer:
2" x 5 1/4" cherry cobbler, using scallop edgelit and scallop embossing folder
1 1/2" x 5 1/4" whisper white, embossing with heart folder down the middle

Stamp mug on cherry cobbler and cut out, twice. Stamp just the lid area on whisper white and cut out twice. Stamp just the mug sleeve or create a mask and cut out the image/shape from the pattern paper. Attach both mugs with dimensionals (104430).

Stamp your sentiment on whisper white and punch out with window punch. Then shorten it by slipping the piece in through the bottom of the punch and punching one end at a time close to the word. Attach to label punch and then to card.

Want to decorate the inside? Create another mug as above or just stamp one off on whisper white and add to the inside with your message!

Don't forget! We are in Sale-A-Bration! Order $50 of product and receive a FREE product, $100 - 2 products! Check it out at my online store! Click on the catalog on the right side!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
