Goodbye S-A-B :(

Today is the last day to qualify for free SAB products, so I thought I would share a couple more creations with you:

I used the SAB set "Party Pants"! I love this set! The smaller balloon is one that I created by using the Balloon Bouquet Punch to punch out the shape, then tracing it onto some of the extra rubber from another stamp set, and cutting it out. Since I was making solid colors, I don't know why I didn't just punch out from cardstock????? The sentiment is from the SAB set "Botanicals for You".

And I really like this little guy from the SAB set "Honeycomb Happiness". It isn't just for Easter and I think I will be using it a lot! I stamped the images then colored in using the ink pad (squeeze before opening to create a pallet on the lid) and a blending pen.

You still have the rest of this day to place a qualifying order for these great products. Let me know if you have any questions. It is also the last day to sign up for My Paper Pumpkin at a discount! The clock is ticking SO don't miss out!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

CASE anyway!

So, how many times have you seen a card that you liked and wanted to recreate, only to realize that you don't have the exact products, so you just don't create? I know I have done that several times and yet even when I do have the exact products, I usually put my own spin on my project. Well, put that mind set away and use what you have. Below are a couple of projects that are cased (copy and share everything) from samples in the catalog.

This one is from page 105. I actually had most of the products that were used on the sample, but still added my own twist with the doily and the mat behind the DSP. I did pull out my retired stamp set called About the Label. For a little bling I colored a small rhinestone with Bermuda Bay ink and added it to the end of the tag, stamped with Teeny Tiny Wishes.

This one is from the sample on page 67. Again, I pulled out several retired stamp sets and a retired paper stack.

So don't let the lack of a specific product stop you from creating a card that you really like. I bet you have something similar in your stash and maybe even forgot about it (not that that has ever happened to me :) )! AND, of course, you can always order the products that you are missing!

Just have fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great creating day!

Easter Traditions

Hi, everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful Easter weekend! I would like to share a part of mine with you.

Several years ago, we started a tradition of a family weekend at the farm on Easter. The yard would have motorhomes and we'd pull out the sleeping bags and ALWAYS hope for nice weather. We would line up two or three long tables in the garage so that we could all be together. A couple of times we had to add some extra heaters, but no one complained. Although some of the faces have changed (well, guess all if you count ageing!), and some of the faces are missed, we still continue the tradition.

Most of us would arrive on Friday night and start the visit. Saturday morning brought breakfast for those up and wanting to enjoy it, then time to cover the tables with newspaper for the Easter Egg coloring. Young and young-at-heart joined in with some just offering advise and ideas. Then the wonderfully decorated eggs would be put aside to dry and wait for hiding/hunting on Sunday morning. Next came a fun lunch with more visiting.

THEN it was time for the really fun stuff. :) STAMPING! When my Aunt could join us, her and I would basically bring our craft room and it was so worth it. We would share the fun we had created and the fun we had purchased through out the year and start another year of fun projects. Of course, a lot of our supplies are Stampin' Up (okay, most), so we had fun sharing new ideas on how to use them.

This past weekend was no exception to the fun. There were new faces and faces we missed so much, but a lot of fun was had, too. Here is just a small part of my weekend:

Our crafting bunch:

The Enjoy the Little Things Project Kit on page 33 of the Occasions catalog was used to make the following projects, with more supplies to create a lot more!

All we had to do was add our own adhesive, stamps, ink, and a few extra embellishments, if we wanted! We also used our cardstock for the card bases as this kit is actually for a home décor piece. We had a new stamper and there was a lot of laughing and just plain fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Don't forget you can still purchase this kit and other supplies by clicking on the ONLINE SHOPPING in the right hand column. And I would really appreciate it if you would list my name as your demonstrator when ordering UNLESS you already have one!

Have a GREAT day!

ATC album

I really don't scrapbook, so not sure why I enjoy making one, once in awhile. But I am going to share this one with you. If you saw my post a few back, of the Bohemian album, the binding on this one was done the same way. This one is MUCH smaller! The photo areas are 2"x3". AND it only took TWO sheets of 6x6 DSP to create the pages!

These first two show the cover. I used ribbon for the closing.

This is the inside pages. I created four for this one. They open out and have a pocket on the right for another photo mat or journaling. Below is how I decorated one of them. I left the mats plain except for the scallop edge, which is hard to see, but if you look between the chevron print (from the next page) and the dots, you can see the scallop edge of the mat.

I really think these would work great for an individual event with journaling all about it. Haven't decided exactly what I will do with this one, but plan to actually use it!

Hope you all have a great day! Don't forget, there is only a few weeks left of SAB!! Don't miss out on the new limited time products!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
