Mini File Folder Album

I decided I wanted to make a mini file folder album, but the only ones I could find were created from actual manila folders, SO I created my own! I used the envelope punch board (LOVE ) to create the folders, put it all together and here are a few of the pages. I really like how it came out and will definitely be making more of these! I wrote up the directions and took pictures as I was creating, so now I need to try making another one, to see how well  I did.

I was actually making this with someone in mind, but I really like it, so may have to make her another one! That doesn't usually happen to me, so a nice feeling. Not that I don't like what I do, but I love sending to friends and family!

Let me know what you think! Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Flower Basket

I placed the link to making this adorable basket on a previous post. And now I want to share another blogger who has inspired me so much. Kitti Caracciolo inspired me to create the flowers for this basket from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch set. Check out her blog here. You may not understand where mine comes from because she does such great work, but I plan to do a lot of practice with her ideas!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!

DSP card set

This set was created using one sheet of DSP (designer series paper). Jackie came up with the idea to use up her DSP, so she can order more LOL. It also uses a bit of contrasting and neutral cardstock. I think it makes a great gift package. Jackie was kind enough to share her pattern and you can find the download on her site here

I am one of those who seldom bought DSP because I would rather stamp. Then I found a few projects that I really liked that used it, so I bought a package. And, well, you know "the rest of the story"! LOL

I plan to make a few of these sets to have on hand, maybe leaving off the sentiments, as the labels are easy to stamp on, even after placing.

I hope you will give this simple project a try. It is quick and easy, my favorite kind of project!

Have a great day and  THANKS for stopping by!

PURPLE May Day

As some of you already know, purple is NOT my color of choice, so I am surprised when I actually think one of these projects is pretty :) ! This is one of them. I made this for that special person in my life fighting cancer, who LOVES purple. You could even call her a fanatic about the color, but I love her, even with her color flaw.

Check out the previous post for a link to make the basket. I did add the handle, but didn't realize I had hidden it until it was all put together, so , "oh, well". Normally, I would have to "fix" it, but think this time it is okay.

I love the way the lilacs turned out. I stamped a large image then punched out a bunch of the tiny flowers from the "itty bitty" punch set and glued them on. Then I put a small dot of yellow stickles in the center of each one.

Hope you enjoyed this one and will create one yourself. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

May Day Basket

Do you remember making May Day Baskets? Can't say that would be a bad tradition to bring back. I believe they used to be placed on people's door step as a surprise! I remember making small ones as a child out of paper in school. But that was a VERY long time ago.

Wouldn't this be great filled with poinsettias at Christmas time! Oh, the endless possibilities!

Here is a great video by Dawn on how to create the basket: CLICK HERE

Hope you give it a try and share your completed project. I have some more variations to make, so will talk to you next time. Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day!

St. Bernard undefined

There is a very special person in my life that loves her St. Bernard! I had to have a stamp to share on her cards, so created this one. Sure hope she thinks it looks like her "Buffalo" at least a little!

The Undefined kit from Stampin' Up is SO easy to work with. I amaze myself each time I use it and I think you will also! You really should give it a try!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Washi Tape Card

After a couple of beautiful spring days, we are back to cold and snow. Won't complain too hard though, because we need to moisture so badly!

This card is decorated with strips of washi tape to form the back ground. I added jewels to the one strip and placed the sentiment at the intersection. I am thinking a black and white version would be perfect for a graduation card, so you may see that in the future.

Hope you are all staying safe and warm, and having a great day! Thanks so very much for stopping by!

pink on pink

I made this one for Valentine's Day, but I think it would make a great sweet sixteen birthday, or several other occasions. Just change the sentiment. It is also quick and easy!

Now for my good news!!! We have relocated to an area that has internet!!!! So I hope to be posting a lot more! I am still unpacking, so it may be a little bit before I actually am able to get into a routine again, but that is my goal!

I haven't done my Easter cards yet, either, so must get those done. I have some really fun ideas, so don't want to waste them!

Have a great day and thanks SO MUCH for stopping by!!!
