Card in a Box

The box cards actually fold flat to mail. They are really easy to create. The hardest part is trying to decide how to place the embellishments. I plan to make at least two more ideas and I am sure that is just the beginning! The tutorial is at SCS here . Check out the gallery for more great ideas. It is listed at the end of the tutorial. I hope you will give these a try, but be warned, they are addictive. :)

The Valentine box is actually from 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock with a few adjustments to the scoring. I scored the first set at 2 1/2", 5", 7 1/2" and 10". When you cut off the 2" strip, you will cut two pieces from it that measure 1" x 4 1/2". Everything else was the same, except for the designer sheets. They have to be cut down to fit. Those measurements are:

1: 6 1/4" x 2 1/4"
6: 2 1/4" x 2 1/2"
3: 2 1/4" x 3 1/2"

I didn't use the white piece on the back. I just left it, but if the fact that a score line shows bothers you, you will want to cover it.

Enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by!
