Chocolate Rolo Pencil

Wouldn't this make a great teacher's gift as well as a nice suprise for the little ones!

First cut a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" Daffodil Delight. Cut one end off slightly with pinking shears for the "sharpened" end of the pencil, then score the long way every 1/4". Sponge on some More Mustard ink to give it a little more dimension. At this point you can add a small message with something from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370), lining it up on the grooves like you would see print on a real pencil. Add Snail adhesive (104332) to the inside ends and roll around a Rolo package, letting a bit of the sharpened edge lap over the roll. Seal with Multipurpose Glue (110755) and hold for a bit to dry. You really need a good adhesive to hold this part of the pencil together.

From Pretty in Pink, cut a 3 1/4" x 3/4" strip and punch out a 1" circle (119868). The circle will need to be slightly trimmed to insert into the top of the pencil. Sponge Pretty in Pink ink along one of the long edges of the strip and wrap around the Rolo at the top of the pencil, using the glue to seal, again. Cut a 1/4" strip of silver and wrap over the seam created with the yellow and pink part of the pencil and seal with glue as before. Using a glue dot, add the circle punch to the top of the pencil and add a chocolate kiss for the point.

Hope you enjoyed this, and thanks for stopping by!!!
