Glimmer Carols of Christmas

I am sure I have enough Christmas cards created, even with making some for my Mom, but there is always that one idea that sticks in your head that you have to create. This is one of those ideas.

The base card is Night of Navy, then using the frame from the Carols of Christmas Bundle (saving 10%) and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper, cut from a 4x5 1/4". You will have to "piece" the frame by cutting one side, then adjusting the die for the other side. You will see that mine isn't perfect. I was so busy lining up the top, I forgot to check the side, but it worked for me. Another tip is to cut the glimmer paper from the paper side, not the glimmer side. This works better for me anyway.

The Night of Navy panel is 3 1/2 x 4 3/4. Check to make sure that it fits inside the glimmer frame and adjust as needed. Using the sky framelit, cut it out of the top. Cut the trees from the glimmer paper and three small stars, using the star in the middle of the frame, from the glimmer paper, also. The deer is cut from Gold Foil paper. (Don't have any???? You really need to purchase the foil papers. They are GORGEOUS!) Gold heat emboss the sentiment close to the sky.

Now to put it all together. I used dotted adhesive around the frame, then Fast Fuse in the center to attach it to the card base. The adhesive sheets would work great for this, too. For the Night of Navy panel, I used liquid glue around the sky and Fast Fuse to adhere on top of the glimmer panel. Now position your trees. Glue down the pair and add mini dimensionals to the single tree and the deer. Add the stars with a spot of glue.

I created another frame from Whisper White for the inside of the card.

This one is so pretty. I wish my picture did it justice. But hope you like it and will give it a try.

Now for one more note. See these tiny strips in the bag? They are from the frame panel and out of glimmer paper so I COULDN'T just throw them away! This is kept in the case with the Bundle.

Does that make me a hoarder??????

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!!
