Here is a great way to use up those bits and pieces of DSP.
The center is a 1 1/2" square and the other pieces are one inch squares cut from one corner to the opposite. I found it easiest to position by placing the corner pieces, then the top two triangles, then the center square. Lie it all out (you might even want to use temporary adhesive), then glue down.
Some of the squares I added a small scallop circle for a little more interest then added "stitch" marks with the white gel pen. I only stitched on the long edge of the corners and around the square, but you can stitch as little or as much as you like and in any color.
These are actually notecards that I am donating to the local nursing home. You could easily make these into greeting cards, too. So pull out your unused DSP and have some fun.
