Happy Valentine's Day

There are SO many wonderful samples out there to help celebrate this day. I will be creating them for some time. This will be the last Valentine I share for a while, though so that you can enjoy it as your own. :)

The card base is Real Red. Place a mat using the Sending Love Glassine sheets. To apply this with out the adhesive showing, add your adhesive behind the pieces you will be covering it with, OR place a small amount of glue on a non-stick surface, spritz with a bit of water and sponge over the back of the sheet, taking card because it will curl. If you are careful you can sponge the base instead, making sure to keep it only where you will be placing the sheet.

The Whisper White uses one of the dies from the Window Box Thinlit set. I positioned it six different times, then cut out around them. You are going to see a lot more from this die set, so if you haven't grabbed one already, you really should. This is placed on top of a piece of Real Red.

I used the Flourish thinlit for the first layer of embellishments. I actually used Whisper White, but wouldn't the Shimmer White be great? Then a swirl of the gold thread. The thread adds so much to a project. The hearts are from the all time favorite, Love Notes, using Red Glimmer paper! I had some of the small hearts from another project, so added them. You could also use the same die to punch out of the glimmer paper and use the hearts that come out. (HINT: I find it usually easier to place the die on the paper side of the glimmer paper.)

The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

I added Real Red stamping to the corners of the envelopes using the Sealed with Love stamp set.

I hope your day a special in some way. Thank you for stopping by!
