Flowering Fields

I know that S-A-B is over, but it is still fun to share projects that are created with our FREE products!! Have you visited Pinterest? It is a wonderful place for ideas and inspiration! Just type in the name of the stamp set you want to use and there are usually lots of samples to browse through! I feel that I should warn you, it can be very addictive, so don't forget to CASE (copy and share everything) or create from the inspiration! I usually start out planning to CASE a project, but usually have to add my own little spin. Here is one of those projects:

The card base is Olive Green, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Mat from Crumb Cake, 5 1/4" x 4" and run through a crimper. (You could also score every 1/4",         flip over and score between the previous score lines.)

Adhere these two together and set aside.

Stamp the flower images onto Whisper White 4 3/4"x 3 1/2" with Old Olive. I used a blender pen to color in the images with Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Watermelon Wonder. Create an ink pallet by squeezing the ink pad in the center before opening. This will form an ink spot onto the lid which can then be used to color with the blender pen or aqua painter.

Use a sponge to create color for the background. I used Old Olive and Island Indigo. Just dab the sponge into the pool of ink on the lid and pounce it onto the image. Then tear a small edge around, pulling it toward yourself. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso from Party Pants.

Adhere this to a 4 3/4"x3 1/2" piece of Early Espresso. Wrap some of the Linen Thread around it and tie into a bow. I thin add a mini glue dot to the back of the knot to hold it in place. You can then add dimensionals to the back or adhere it down onto the card.

The butterfly is stamped on Daffodil Delight with Hello Honey. Cut it out with the paper snips and add it with a piece of Dimensionals.

AND I HAVE to have bling! So, I colored the flowers and the butterfly with clear Wink of Stella.

So, if you haven't looked at Pinterest, check it out, before OR after trying this project. Shake it up by making it your own, different stamps, colors, omissions, additions, or whatever. Just have fun!!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
